HTC Hero

Hi
I am trying to get my sms messages to be saved to my SIM card. Do you know how to do this on an HTC Hero. Also, I have downloaded a back up application from the market place which seems to have saved only some of my text messages. For example from one particular person i have over 200 sms yet only 50 are in google. Do you know why? or more importantly how i can get all 200 over to Gmail
Hoping you have an answer...for a lady that is not too good with technology.

Hello Annette. I don't know how to save the SMS messages to the SIM card. As a HTC Hero user I do the SMS backup with the application called SMS Backup from Christoph Studer, which can be downloaded from the Android market. I think you are talking about the same app.

The SMS Backup saves only 100 messages per backup and its maximum is 200. This can be changed in its Advanced settings. But I don't know, if it is a maximum what can be stored or if it is mean for one backup process. I don't have more than one hundred messages yet.
